Although soccer has raise in popularity in the last 50 years, is still not being the most popular sport in USA because the American people enjoy more watching contact sports and soccer is more about tactic that you have to learn when you're young.

What are some other reasons it isn't popular? You mentioned at one point that few American players compete in the most competitive league. Perhaps that is a reason it is not popular as well.
